Meet Angel
The Heart Behind the Law
Angelle Lamarque passed away at 20 months old, just shy of her second birthday.

After experiencing the unimaginable loss of her daughter, Angelle's mother, Kristi, felt called to become a nurse. Years later, she found herself working in a place she never imagined she would, caring for families experiencing pregnancy and infant loss in labor and delivery.
​
Through her own experience as both a grieving mother and a bereavement nurse, Kristi has helped shape a standard of care rooted in compassion. She believes every family deserves time with their baby, meaningful keepsakes, and the resources needed to navigate one of life's most difficult moments.

Today, Angelle's legacy lives on through Angel's Law, helping ensure that families across Louisiana receive the care every parent deserves.
