Join the Wave

A community-wide movement to remember babies gone too soon and support the families who love them.

For years, families have carried their grief quietly. What if, for one month each year, our community carried it with them?

What is The Wave of Support?

The Wave of Support is a community-wide movement held each October during Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month. Through simple acts of remembrance, we come together to honor babies gone too soon and show families they are not alone.

Throughout the month, individuals, families, businesses, schools, churches, and organizations participate by displaying ribbons, honoring babies with memorial yard signs, wearing Join the Wave shirts, supporting participating coffee shops, attending remembrance events, and taking part in the International Wave of Light.

Each act may seem small on its own, but together they create something much greater. They raise awareness, spark meaningful conversations, and remind grieving families that their babies are loved, remembered, and will never be forgotten.

Candle Making

Event

October 4th

Join us for a special event created for moms who have experienced the loss of a child. Together, we'll create a personalized remembrance candle to light during the International Wave of Light on October 15 and cherish for years to come.

Whether your loss was recent or many years ago, we hope you'll leave with a beautiful keepsake and the reminder that your child is always loved and remembered.

Wave of

Light

October 15th @ 7pm local time

Join families and supporters around the world as they light a candle at 7:00 PM in remembrance of babies gone too soon.

Whether you light a candle for your own baby or in honor of a friend's or family member's baby, your light becomes part of a continuous Wave of Light that circles the globe, reminding families everywhere that their babies are remembered.

Remembrance Family Photo Sessions

October 25th

After your baby passes away, it can be heartbreaking to feel like you'll never have a complete family photo. That's why we are providing a safe and welcoming space where families can capture a portrait that includes the child who will always be part of their family.

Join the Wave
with a Ribbon

Throughout the month of October, we invite you to tie a pink and blue ribbon around your mailbox, a tree, your front porch, or another visible place at your home or business in honor of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month.

Whether you're remembering your own baby, honoring the child of a loved one, or just standing with families in your community, your ribbon becomes part of a larger wave of remembrance and support.

As more ribbons appear across our neighborhoods, they'll serve as a reminder that these babies are remembered, their families are seen, and no one has to grieve alone.
